Seven Seas Worldwide: A Guide to UK Universities for International Students
Go on a summer school taster course or a university tour course during the July holidays with organisations in the UK or USA such as Oxbridge Academic, Oxford Royale Academy. Check out their websites and the posters on the Careers Noticeboard in PC Block.

Scholarships for International Students in NZ:
International Students — many NZ and overseas universities have scholarships available specifically for international students, so be sure to check these out (links below). If you need help finding out information about courses, international tuition fees, etc, please come and see me and I will help you research this. – Ms McLaughlin
- The University of Canterbury offer scholarships to First Year International Students for $10,000, $15,000 or $20,000. Up to 25 scholarships are awarded. Closing date mid-August. More information
- Waikato University offers $5000 for Academic Excellence for international students. More information
- Victoria University also awards International Excellence scholarships if students have been in NZ school for 12 months. More information
- At the University of Otago international students can apply for all undergraduate scholarships if they did Year 12 in NZ and are completing Year 13. More information In 2020, after the impacts of COVID-19, Otago created new $10,000 scholarships for international students who were completing their HS in NZ.
